The Art of Delivering Engaging and Convincing Presentations

 Regardless of research field or career path, scientists have to communicate effectively, delivering convincing presentations to different audiences, including committees, lay audiences and peers.

The good news is: There are quick ways to take your scientific presentations to the next level and to communicate your research results in a truly engaging, exciting and convincing way. In this workshop, you will learn the essentials of presenting skillfully and with style. We will practice the most important and useful techniques in a series of interactive and fun exercises.
All participants are kindly asked to prepare a short presentation of roughly ten minutes, which you will deliver in the second part of the workshops, receiving an individual and detailed feedback from the trainer.
At the end of the workshop, all participants will have a 'toolbox' with best-practice techniques and tricks for your future talks. This seminar is 100% interactive and practical, so please be prepared to actively participate, exchange your ideas, and... have fun!
