Charlotte Blessing receives dissertation prize

Former IRTG member and doctoral researcher in the Ladurner lab is awarded the Dr. Hildegard and Heinrich Fuchs Prize

The Dr. Hildegard and Heinrich Fuchs Foundation promotes science and research in the field of human medicine. The winners of the doctoral award are selected from among the best "summa cum laude" dissertations by the doctoral committee of the Medical Faculty of LMU Munich. The prize is endowed with 5,000 euros. This year, one of the awards went to Dr. Charlotte Blessing for her dissertation entitled "The role of chromatin dynamics in the DNA damage response." The work was done in the laboratory of Andreas Ladurner (Project A03). The award ceremony took place during the annual reception of the LMU Medical Faculty on July 22.
