Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG)
The goal of our IRTG graduate program is to provide doctoral candidates with a challenging and enriching program that complements individual PhD projects. The mixture of a structured framework for supervised training and research combined with custom qualification, career orientation and substantial self-organization by the doctoral candidates aims to promote an atmosphere of independent, goal-oriented critical thinking within the IRTG.

The signature initiative of the program is the IRTG Lecture Series which channels the CRC’s clustered expertise in chromatin research into a structured forum for instruction and discussion. A unique resource for graduate associates, the series aims to provide firsthand information on leading opinions, career paths and cutting-edge methods in chromatin research. See schedule
